Shane Carlson is an experienced
broadcaster - first cutting his teeth as a mere lad on hospital radio at
Stoke Mandeville.
His music interview credits include Mike Rutherford, Noddy Holder, Ian Dury,
Fish, John Martyn, Ian Gillan, Paul Jones...and of course Andrew Latimer and
Andy Ward of his beloved band Camel - amongst many many others!
In his time, Shane has made guest appearances on BBC Radio 1, Chiltern
Radio, CRMK - as well as undertaking various voice-over and jingle
productions.
Shane took some time out of radio when his "day job" took him round the
world for a number of years where he savoured the delights and joys of
living life in a permanent state of jet-lag! After 10 years of living and
working in Dubai, Shane has relocated back to the UK with his wife Angie and
now lives in the wilds of beautiful Herefordshire.
Many will of course remember Shane's first appearance on ARfm a few years
ago when he presented the three hour Camel radio special - a programme which
we still replay now from time-to-time.
