Juliet Harris grew up in a small seaside town in semi-detached circumstances. This mix of faded glamour, relative comfort and frequent tedium made her the perfect audience for indie and alternative rock music. Having spent years being shouted at through doors to "turn that noise down", Juliet's love of the sounds popularised by programmes such as The Evening Session and John Peel was cemented by 3 years of being a student in a city with more music venues than sense. Wisely giving student radio a wide berth for featuring too many "comedy" sound effects, Juliet instead accidentally ended up in community rock radio banging on about Women In Rock, learning how to love Rush and surviving unwanted live-on-air spoonerisms such as "sitting in a shopping centre".
 
Juliet now walks weekly in an Indie Wonderland on ARFM on Thursdays from 7-9pm and remains eternally grateful when others join her in this noble endeavour. Juliet will play anything that could be feasibly be classed as Indie, Alternative Rock, Post-Rock, Grunge, Shoegazing, C86/Tweecore, Riot Grrrl and anything anywhere in between that sounds at least 60% decent.
